Lissa Nicolaus
Biography
Lissa Nicolaus is a native Californian who grew up in
Carmel, California. She studied art at UC Berkeley,
San Francisco Art Institute, Academy of Art and has
traveled extensively. She paints on location using
the beaches, hills, waterfronts and small towns as
subject matter for her colorful, impressionistic
paintings.
Lissa is a founding member of the Baywood Artists of
Marin County, a member of the Bolinas Museum Living
Artists Project and has exhibited in local and San
Francisco galleries, the California Collector Gallery,
the Bolinas Museum and in numerous Baywood Artists shows.
